Trump supporters attacked, Police sued for failure to protect them

Didn't this happen in Nazi Germany were police stood back when protesters were beaten and attacked by Nazi supporters. Hate to see something like this happening in this country no matter who the protesters are....

Under color of law, law enforcement is not obligated to protect the individual and cannot be sued. This is a 20 year old Supreme Court ruling and there is not a darned thing a person can do about it.

Yes that's right, Both happened in the past and I sure don't want to see it starting again. I'm retired LEO and would have come to the aid of anyone I saw being attacked. All that law means is you can't be sued for "failing" to protect someone, not that you can't or shouldn't do it....
