Different statistics show the black population of the U.S. to be about 14% to 18% including mixed marriages. So how come on every TV commercial blacks are the majority and with TV shows blacks are predominent?

I was wondering the same thing... Almost every commercial that is shown on TV will show a mixed couple either in bed or at a bank, insurance company, black and white kids running from bed room for breakfast etc. Its called brain washing.

Plain old t.v. puts on shows that are geared to those that are home watching t.v. Not people who are busy working at something.

Of course! And the newest trend is depicting white men with black women, because, no doubt, the opposite pairing has become such a tired cliché (not that it isn't an accurate cliché). Seen the latest Honda MC ad? Deliberately shocking. However, the greatest promoters of miscegenation seem to be the prescription drug companies; wish I could remember some of the names, but there are just too many.

However, I actually doubt that the main "push" for such ads is coming directly from the drug & other companies, but rather from the ad agencies that choose the specific ad content. The single most outrageous, provocative, disgusting, TV ad I've EVER seen (which is saying a LOT!) is one prepared & funded by the National Advertising Council itself! It features a big, strong, tough-looking white guy strolling down a sidewalk while he rants about "love" being the very essence of true Americanism--love specifically for homos, trans-freaks, & Turd-Worders, sickening glimpses of which are seen as this POS passes them by; really, it's almost indescribably nauseating.
