Actually, why are we giving foreign aid to any country?
Most of the recipients are either tin pot dictatorships,
or outright socialistic regimes. There are worthy cases
like Israel and Egypt that without our help might succumb
to the muslim fanatics, but for the most part, why can't
countries support themselves without help from outside
sources ? I'm not sure that giving money guarantees
loyalty, I think some would sell us out in a minute if they
received a more lucrative offer,but in any case if these
countries can't survive on their own then they're obviously
doing something wrong and need to change because all
we're doing in most cases is filling Swiss bank accounts.
