Back in those wild and woolly days, a poster like that
would in nine out of ten cases result in a dead man
draped over a saddle.
No way to argue about that and the reward would be
handed over. These days however you can't go around
shooting the baddies so when a reward is offered you
use the phone instead of the Colt. Trouble is, the
people who offer the reward most times just wriggle
their way out of paying using some legal technicality.
A Colt 44 left no room for legal technicalities, but
phones do which is why this Lady is out of luck.
