    School Drops Pledge Of Allegiance

Asks students to recite "Wolf Pack Chant" instead. What the hell is happening in our schools? The concept of Patriotism is never mentioned.

An Atlanta charter school headed into the new school year by telling students and staff not to recite the Pledge of Allegiance in the morning — but instead the “Wolf Pack Chant.”

Well... it's a charter school . They agree to a standard of education... not indoctrination.... on either side of the fence .

If there is something you want your kids or grandkids to learn or feel strongly about.... then you do it . Stop your whining that Libs are teaching your children.... you do it .

This is why I say "Don't feed the trolls."

Charter schools or not, they are still PUBLIC schools -- funded by taxpayer dollars. Parents and taxpayers have a perfect right to insist these schools meet THEIR standards. To pretend otherwise is sheer sophistry.

How would these kids know what the word Allegiance means ?
            Too many syllables.

I think you say it because you don't like having your ideas challenged, even casually, in an internet forum for entertainment purposes only.
