Trump is the proverbial "Bull in the China Shop"

He's been breaking the 'do nothing to offend anybody' rule
from the moment he set foot in the White House. What a
refreshing difference from his predecessor who bowed and
scraped his way across the Mideast, giving away the store
to Iran and telling himself Kim was just a cuddly teddy bear.
Now, hopefully Kim is giving up his nukes under threat of
crippling sanctions and Iran is suffering Trump inspired
protests - protests that obama ignored years earlier.
Tax cuts, regulations that stifled business, canceled, pipeline
OK'd to go ahead, and now he's tackling the tricky problem
of tariffs. On top of all this he's being hounded by the
Gestapo. Any normal man would be worn out by now, but
not him. He's like the fluffy pink Duracell Bunny - once
wound up, he's good for eight years.

Don't make posts citing Trump's accomplishments -- it gets some people's depends in a serious wad.

Trump doesn't smoke. Trump doesn't drink(his brother died from abuse). He doesn't even drink coffee. Come to think of it he could make a good Mormon. He's tough. I'm nowhere near that good, but I sure as heck respect it. Let's see; Obama did a little drugs in his youth, he was a smoker. He had a great sense of humor and could tell a good story. His daughter it dating a white kid and they both smoke( not that that enters into the story). Who do I want in charge in a crisis?
If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.

Don't know if I buy your argument, dryheat. It seems to be that this country came of age at a time when most people smoked, and there was a bottle at the ready in the desk drawer. At least, that's what the old movies show. Obama got elected in the first place over McCain because enough people thought he would navigate the financial crisis with a cooler head. Make of that what you will.

As for NK, the latest out of the administration is that for all of the love notes going back and forth, it's largely business-as-usual with respect to missle and warhead R&D. But we feel better about it, which is just as good as them actually disarming, right?

With NK it's the Chinese who pull rocket mans strings. Right now China is in no mood for taking rocket man to task as Trump has placed all of the tariffs on them. The next problem for Trump is that the Russians are also in the game. They don't like the sanctions placed on them. They can and it seems are supplying rocket man with his much needed oil. He has no incentive to comply with Trumps requests and to make anything he signed take forever to unfold. Nothing is going to happen with respect to NK till the Chinese economy begins to tank because of the tariffs and then again it may not if they can find other markets for their products. They are pushing hard into South America too now. India can be a key allie here. If they can make the same products as good or better then the Chinese and at the same cost then they will replace them as to imports into the US. Trump has ben pushing for that with India and of course they would love to be able to do that.

But what Trump has done with the economy is something McCain or even Obama could not do. It's growing even with the lack of imports from China. America is back at work and the money the corporations have had stashed overseas is returning to the USA to be invested in new growth. Oh my. Trump doesn't drink coffee?? Man I don't know if I can trust anyone who doesn't drink coffee. It's un American!!!!!
