SAS Sgt proves an old gun can kill Jihadis ...

The result of his shot must have been fun to see.

I hear the Brits are working on cutting edge technology time use GPS-guided drones to carry the bullet to the target.

I remember back in '68 we had an M2 set up with a scope and sandbagged in. We got several kills with it -- although not nearly that far.

IIRC Carlos Hathcock used an M2 with a scope to make his 2,500 yard shot in Vietnam.

Flashback moment: I have seen them in WW2 movies. Handle bars that is. Don't recall a water jacket though.

The water-cooled M2 with the handlebar grips was intended for use aboard ships. It may be an old design, but it can still dominate in an infantry situation. The M2HB can junk a wheeled vehicle in short order. Regards, Clark
