      Geeze! Imagine that professors who actually teach worthwhile subjects -- math, science, engineering -- make less that those who only spew claptrap.

          Pretty simple reason. The bull artists run little theatrical shows which bring in lots of paying students who know they can skate and get an A for showing up. Ever take Differential Equations? The classroom is sparsely populated.

          That's why Brain Dead Bernie wants 'free college for all'. Teaching jobs for idjits with worthless degrees who can't contribute to the economy but can indoctrinate.

          Bring on the tumbrels.

              Well, my graduate degrees are in Education -- not as hard as engineering, by any means, but that's what was available on post at night school. It tied in well with my military specialty, Operations and Training, and I got a good job developing training for various entities after I retired.

              My wife got her RN from a hospital nursing program, and later got her bachelor's degree on the GI Bill. The kids did better -- the oldest daughter has her master's in communication, our son-in-law has his master's in aerospace engineering, and the youngest daughter has her doctorate in physical therapy.

                  Those professors are simply "pet professors". Hiring and retaining them is a form of virtue signaling . Once they attain tenure, you can bet they only show up occasionally. Regards, Clark
