Actually Democrats have a pretty good track record of opposing Communism, Vern. Maybe not opposing it effectively, but opposing it nonetheless. Even to the modern times, the Dems are more likely to be suspicious of the former Soviets than is say the current leader of the other major political party.

And with respect to the OP, let us not forget that lots of people act in a way that very much suggests they want to be told what to think. It fascinates me that when Trump was bashing Kim, the forum was too. Then Trump stopped bashing Kim, and so did the forum. Pure coincidence? Clearly. With any luck something will happen and then guys here will (thanks to Trump) discover that they like Mexico again. That would be something to see.
