Death Threats in the Manafort trial ...

Judge has protection but the Jury pool does not,
that's why the Judge won't release their names to CNN.
Question: who is making the threats ? I'd bet the farm, if
I had one, that it's the liberals who are annoyed that
Manafort has not yet been sentenced to life in prison.
But the Press will no doubt blame Trump supporters.
What will the jury think ? Who will they believe ?
Will it sway their decision in favor of guilty verdicts in at
least some charges ? I thought Manafort would be aquitted
on ALL charges, but now with the threats in the mix.
I'm not so sure.

I expect there's at least one MAGA hat in the room. Trump has been sending dog whistle messages to jury pools for months. As the head of the executive branch he should show restraint but good luck getting him to agree. The jury will just have tough it out. As for the judge....how can he possibly be surprised?

If not guilty the headlines will be;

WaPo - The Russians hacked the jury
NYT - Our democracy is under attack
Osomara - I have tapes proving the Russians were involved
CNN - The jury were racists
MSLSD - The jury only wanted to hurt Mueller
etc, etc, etc,

BTW, CNN and WaPo wanted the names of the jury members the day after they requested a definition of Reasonable Doubt.
