ESPN President Says Network Will Not Air The National Anthem...

...on Monday night football. What the hell is the matter with him? Isn't he an American citizen and making a good living here? Why doesn't he go to Somalia and then he won't have to hear the Star Spangled Banner. Another left-wing b@#$ard.

    You don't watch football.

I watch the tennis and boxing on ESPN/2 Nothing else.
American football is like rugby except in Rugby they don't
        wear armor.
Basketball is the most stupid game I've ever not watched.

Yes and no. He doesn't watch, so why complain?

Also, the ugliest to not-watch--resembles a gang-fight more than any exhibition of skill; but for the exhibition of hideous tattoos, it's unsurpassed. But of course it was invented specifically to give inner-city ruffians an outlet for their aggressive behavior.

I get the impression that those huge football players
are deliberately trying to maim their opponents.
I used to like Ice Hockey years ago, but no more.
It got to be too violent with the illegal use of sticks
                    and unnecessary body checking.

Well if ESPN ever decides to put on a Biggest Curmudgeon contest, I think there's some real talent here. Maybe not Joad Cressbeckler good, but getting there.
