How can Brennan or anybody on his behalf claim his free speech
rights have been abridged when the useless SOB is all over the
liberal TV spouting his accusations. His now revoked privilege
has nothing to with free speech.
And now Brennan says he'll take legal action to prevent other
peoples clearances from sharing the same fate as his own.
How can you take legal action on behalf of someone else ?
Unless I'm mistaken, you can't.

In my youth a Security Clearance was on a 'need to know' basis. So what does a retired loudmouth need to know, since he's only taking info and profiting from it, not benefiting the nation?

That's my question. Why were not their security clearances automatically revoked when they retired? Failure to do so starts to look like criminal negligence to me.

so that his successor could get his opinion and possible advice, but
certainly no more than a few months.

Exactly -- and for an extension, he would have to show cause. His successor would have to apply for it and justify it -- failing that, the security clearance should automatically expire.
