More bitter than McCain??? At his funeral, which every Dem in Congress will do their best to attend, expect to hear, not an overt attack on Trump, which even most Dems would consider unseemly at a funeral, but some kumbaya bit of phony piety about how McCain worked so hard to "unite the country," or some other self-righteous BS, such as Dems specialize in.

Truly a massive loss for the democrats but they have many others in the house and senate masquerading as Republicans.

Yes, more bitter than McCain. By a good bit. Perhaps your own bitterness keeps you from seeing this.

Once again proving, Trump cannot rise above.

                From an article:

To be fair, however, we do have one piece of evidence that Trump views flag lowering as an important symbol. In 2015, some conservatives were outraged that Obama had not immediately ordered flags to half-staff after a gunman killed five service members in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He eventually did make the order, but in the meantime then-candidate Trump issued a press release scolding the president and ordering flags on his own properties lowered. At the time, the move was widely perceived to be an attempt to shore up support with veterans: Trump had recently offended them by insulting John McCain.

Sam.... is this coming from someone who recently sided with someone accusing others of....snide remarks ? ...

You were part of the recent thread accusing others of not having anything of value to add to a thread... were you not....sir ?

That's very interesting... perhaps you will give us all some kind of phsycological explanation as to why some people .... such as yourself ... would do the very same thing they critizise .... with frequency ?

Worth noting is that someone in the White House was expressing pretty much the same sentiment as 'Trax, probably at the same time the Boggs and Bostonbounds in the White House were having their say. (We are told it is a place full of lively discussions). Judging from what happened, the 'Trax faction prevailed.

It's not everyday that one of our little debates here gets to play out in a real-time, real-life experiment.

Where I call guys out as my civic duty for their deliberate misdirections using the Nazi label while they preach their own "soft" version of ethno-nationalism?

Still in business. Would like to retire in a couple years if not sooner.
