A sad piece of American history .....

I think it a sad piece of American history......

when the nation of Vietnam can issue a more respectfull statement on the loss of one of our Veterans than we got from our own White House things are indeed wrong .

It is that simple boys and girls ... you've been dissed . No matter what side you stand on..... you were dissed by a pouty little boy .

what shame we accept it .

Not even the class to offer a White House Statement .... just a tweet .

    Leadership ..... my ass

I feel you, but on the plus side, we like Mexico again, so there is that (still hate Canada though). McCain may yet find favor in death with the White House.

And for whatever kind words the Viet say about McCain, they still deny torturing him, so take it with a grain of salt.

I see what was offered from the Vietnamese Togor , even if they weren't sincere . They showed that respect...... but nothing came from "my own" to take a grain of salt with

Your point is legit. 'Trax said it best...."unable to rise above." But this is nothing new. Swift-boating Kerry, complaining that Obama is an evil, secret Muslim (which McCain famously put down in one of his own rallies), it all comes from the same place. Trash anyone who doesn't fit the orthodoxy, who dares to chart their own way in the world. We see it here too. Raw tribalism.

Remember, McCain despised Putin. He also co-sponsored the Magnitsky Act.

Trump's just following Putin's orders perhaps?

When you feel that way, START YOUR OWN PARTY, as George Wallace & Ross Perot did, instead of doing your best to bring down the party whose "orthodoxy" you oppose!

Sorry Pal.... opposing orthodoxy is what America is all about... opposing viewpoints is what "Made us Great".... not blind following like sheep

                  Question and doubt...everything...on all sides.

That's the only thing that will "keep" us great

So marching in lock-step is the test? Berlin, Moscow, Pyongyang, have all seen such parades.
