Loyalty ... what is that ?

So some guy with a bone spur denegrates one of our Veterans and it seems most are suddenly eager to back him on this ....surprisingly, even Veterans .

But that is not the biggest surprise...

the biggest surprise is that the same above mentioned bone spur will take a a POS tax evading , bank defrauding, lying, convicted felon, non vet and proclaim him a ...Brave Man.

I expect this to be another cricket chirp post here on Culvers... but the question needs asking and particularly of you Vets ...

    Manafort ... McCain

I know who I would want a leader to praise..... how about you ?

I respected McCain for his service, I voted for him for President but over the last few years I disagreed with his politics.

McCain was from my state and I voted for him before. He IS an American hero, that can't be taken away from him. In his later years I began to disagree with his politics. When he ran for president with Palen, he refused to get down in the dirt to engage the enemy, Palen was ready and did, but I think she was reigned in by his campaign. I heard on FOX the other day that McCain had an 87% approval rating among congressional democrats. He has been eulogized as always putting his country first, yet when it came to the critical vote to repeal Obamacare, he put his ego first. When he knew he was dying, he refused to resign from the Senate to allow a replacement.

For more than a year, AZ has only had one Senator, a flakey one at that. He isn't running again because he himself said he couldn't get elected
again. Hopefully, AZ will get active representation to push forward Trump's MAGA agenda. Today is Primary day in AZ; get out and vote.

He voted against his own on Obama care because he was smart enough to realize that when his own couldn't produce equal or better it was going to come back to bite those who got rid of it...

Our country has always needed polititians on both side of the fence willing to buck their own for what they think is right...

we will never be great while we all blindly follow party agendas with out question .... we've been divided... next comes conquered . Ask Putin...and his friends

This one fact better than any other demonstrates beyond question that to him his purpose in being a US Senator was not about supporting the objectives of his own party (the LAST thing he cared about!), nor even playing a constructive role of any kind in the Senate, because his illness had rendered that impossible. It was all about HIM, John McCain, professional hero--playing out to his last ego-driven gasp the "maverick" image he so cherished; but to the Arizona voters who trusted him with their votes, he wasn't a maverick, he was a RENAGADE!

.... and you believe that suddenly he had a change of heart and wanted nothing more than to help the American people ....

your description of McCain above is your President to a T

With Obamacare gone, there's no doubt in my military mind that there would very soon be a better replacement. Time was not on the side of the cobbled together replacement that also failed.

Well, one HUGE difference between them is that the media WORSHIP McCain as much as they demonize Trump. However, that wasn't true when he ran against Soul Brother; only after he began attacking Trump did he become a media idol.

                        Soul Brother?

Looking up at minorities gets to CH, apparently. Suggestion: don't see race.

Race, you're telling us, played no part in the media's love affair with you-know-who? You actually believe that?

Trump was not elected to give orations at the funeral of deceased senators. He was elected by the voters to act according to their interests. Nominating and appointing Conservatives to the SCOTUS and the federal judiciary as well as other posts in the federal government well serves the interests of those whose votes put Trump into office. Sincerely. bruce.
