    California Readies Epic Gun Crackdown

...I'm sure all of the criminals will now stop using guns to commit crimes.

Brown's assault weapon ban was in effect when I was
a regular shooter at my club. I would be shooting an old
military rifle but just about all the other benches held shooters
with their new fangled tarted up ARs (recently purchased) and
one of them had an incredibly short barrel.
"Loopholes" are the result when politicians who are obviously
ignorant about anything firearm related, write gun ban rules.

IIRC there was attempt to put the RKBA in the California Constitution a few years ago.
Again, the goal is to create a Surveillance and Snitch society.

I'm not sure that today's youth with their obsession
with I pads, smart phones and the dangerous taking
of selfies should be allowed to own a firearm. If they
use a gun as stupidly as they use their smart phones,
then we can look forward to "Chicagos" everywhere.

That may be a self-correcting problem.

I see where US Optic moved to Montana from California. I don’t see how any gun related manufacturer could survive there.

That is no different then the gun makers leaving New York and Connecticut for gun friendly states down south. Only one left will be S&W in Massachusetts and I don't know how long they can hold on.

Has Kimber moved out of New York yet?
