Every Friday night at a VFW-affiliated bar with my dad, after dinner. Lots of old guys there. Geeze, if I could step into the time machine, go back and get some stories. We went early, for the pool tables. I remember when the 18-year-old drinking age kicked in. Suddenly those pool tables were harder to get to, and the place was that much more crowded that much earlier. My dad didn't like it, so naturally I didn't either. Some years later when I turned 18, my attitude about that topic changed, LOL. Going to a bar & grill while you're still in high school and ordering an Andecker with your burger, thinking about the next track meet or baseball game. I guess we decided somewhere along the way that this kind of fun is bad for young people.
