Serena Williams loses and then loses it just like Hilary did ...

I'm talking about the US Open Tennis final.
Just like Hilary, Serena was a shoo in to win. Everybody
knew she was going to win, so when it appeared she
might lose (having already lost the first set 2-6), She lost
it. Actually it was her coach who caused it by giving coaching
gestures which caught the eye of the umpire who deducted
a point from Serena. After that all hell broke loose.
She eventually lost the match 2-6 4-6 but it will be her
outbursts that will be remembered not the Japanese girl's
victory. Reminds me of the 2016 fiasco.

I gotta say, "Who cares?" These prima-donnas are always throwing a tantrum about something or other.

Tell me this: if male tennis players are prevented from competing against females, why must normal females be compelled to compete against such an abnormal BEAST as Queen Kong?

By the way, you may not believe this, but I read that Serena supports enthusiastically Colin Afrohead's new Nike commercial; aren't you surprised?

But that's very far, if the media ADORES you! That ugly mug on the covers of not one but TWO Vogue issues; two so far, that is. Wonder when the Japanese girl will get hers.

CH did you know the Japanese player has a Haitian father? That's a combo you don't see every day. Nice looking and a good player, too!

Thank God for that! "Nice looking"? Only in comparison to Queen Kong.

I listened to some analysis of this and the following came out from a number of people including a tennis pro on Fox News. I'm not a tennis fan - but.

                  1. The official in question has a history of having personal whipping boys (and girls) on the tour and Williams isn't the only one.

                  2. Coaching from the stands is as common as offensive holding in American Football. it happens all the time and is seldom called in the real world. Most players, coaches and a lot of fans find it odd that coaching during a match is not allowed in Tennis when it is allowed in every other sport. Also, penalties for coaching from the stands should be assessed against the coach.

                  3. I have a friend who has been involved in Pro Tennis for decades and has told me in the past that Serena Williams is personally one of the nicest women on the tour and that's from long personal experience.

                  4. That this match was decided the way it was is the real stain on the Japanese girls win and she said as much.

                  5. The bigoted overtones in this thread disgust me. So, is the problem with Williams that she's black, she isn't good looking enough (this isn't a beauty contest,) or a temper tantrum over what she considered a bad decision, John McEnroe's titanic fits actually, I understand, once cost him a match. None of those have a thing to do with the game. I'm frankly sick of a lot of this stuff especially the "monkey" crap and other snide racial comments and innuendos. One of the reasons "Da Gimp" stopped posting here was this garbage. This is less and less a gun forum all the time.

Billy Jean King came out to ask why it's so different when a woman protests than when a man does it. She forgot she knows John McEnroe? Serena says she didn't cheat but her coach owned up to it. I wouldn't know how to make that call during a match, but I did get the impression that the ref is to tennis as Joe West is to baseball. ("That's a balk/Yer outta here!")

The girl (Osaka?) is half Japanese and half Haitian. They moved to the USA when she was barely three years old. Raised and educated in the USA. Can't speak Japanese but claims a small familiarity with the language through her mother. She claims dual citizenship and feels as though she has triple citizenship via her father. Japan has an ongoing history of racism towards non-homogenized citizens. I find it somewhat surprising she would be allowed to represent Japan on the world circuit.

Not being racist. Just the facts.

No, the problem is that she's made herself a spokesperson for every left-wing cause from "taking a knee" to BLM. Now the French tennis authority is having to draw up a dress code, never needed before she appeared dressed in an outfit taken from the "Black Panther" movie. She's been made a media darling, & splashed on the cover of a (so-called) fashion magazine for BEING black, so why isn't that fair game for discussion?

Defending her outrageous behavior in that last match (read the truth about it in the NY Times) makes you the bigot.

It's only the four slams where coaching is not allowed.

John McEnroe was expelled from the Aussie Open back when
he told the referee to "go f your mother"

I don't know if any of you watched the U.S. opens or not, but there are a few things you should consider before drawing a conclusion about Serena Williams. Look at the competition she faced before getting to the finals. Hardly anyone who was really ranked and one match in the sunshine and heat. IMHO. I'm laying around watching a lot of the matches due to surgery on my foot and I didn't see to much of a struggle for her to get to the finals. HOW EVER how many times has she played her sister Venus and lost ? A few. Then after all the other players were eliminated who did Serena play and eliminate ? Her sister. She beat Venus 6-1 and 6-2. This was the open door for her 24th win. This according to the play by play commentators was most unusual. So the stage is set for Serena to tie Margaret Court of Australia whose record is 24 Grand slams and Serena needed this one to tie her. ( Serena has 23 ) This was planned from the git go. IMHO This all you heard about from the the beginning of the Tournament.

Just saying, it was convenient for Venus to take a dive but that didn't work out. After the the first set you could see from Serena's facial expression that the little lady from Japan had her number. Serena had no way out but to show her temper and arrogance because she was defeated after the first set.. To give her credit, she can serve a blistering 110- 120 mph serve, but she lumberers around the court after a few exchanges. Little Naomi whipped her big ARSE.................

Sorry Serena, no 24 this time... I think her days are numbered. There are a lot of new faces out there and they are good.
                          Just my opinion

She's not from Japan. She's from Florida. Up until she achieved a ranking the Japs had no use for her...being racially inferior and all. The Nips have a term for it which is equivalent to wog in English.

It's a relief to know there's some corner of the world where racial & cultural pride has not been extinguished by left-wing ideology.
