    Goose stepping looks painful ...

Might also prevent one from becoming a parent.

Quite a celebration. Very impressive. They like that sort of thing. Too bad they won't stand for it here.

Lads? The women look to be moving along just a wee bit too close for comfort. I would hate to have a knee knocked out from under me in that crowd. Akin to a pile up at the bottom of an escalator.

JB, that's why taller guys go in the front when marching.

Hope we never have to fight them but if SHTF one moab would put quite a dent in their celebration. The problem would be the delivery of not being detected.

They have one armored division -- the 105th Armored Division. They don't have enough fuel to run it.

Doesn't hurt as much as being sent to their version of the Gulag.

Notice all the medals that the ladies are wearing. Since they haven't been in a war in over 60 years, one wonders what they were awarded for. Being the gentleman that I am, I won't speculate in a public forum but they do have fairly short skirts; hmmmm?

Because those randy old Generals get to pin medals on their boobs.

I can tell you goose stepping IS painful.

During WWII the first Commandant of the Artillery Officer Candidate School was Carl Jark. By the early '60s, he was a general and commanded the Continental Army. So the practices he established were flourishing. One of them was the weekend punishment tour. This was a march conducted at high speed with the goose step. It went from the Regimental Headquarters to the top of Medicine Bluff 4 and back, 5.4 miles and had to be completed in 50 minutes (or you had to do it over.) After a 30 minute rest, those with a lot of demerits got to do it again.

It was sometimes called the Jark March, and sometimes the Easter March -- because first you were tortured by the cruel Roman soldiers, then you carried your burden up the hill, and you did not rise again until the third day.
