One characteristic of a narcissist is that he believes reality must conform to whatever he says it is.

This is all too true, tragically, for many victims of police shootings. You can't be a cop, even of the most peace-loving, non-aggressive, non-confrontational, variety & NOT know that "I felt threatened" is, in most situations, your get-out-of-jail card. Doubt it will work in this particular case, because the circumstances are so outrageous, but the mind-set will continue to exist until many more of such trigger-happy cops are put into prison stripes.

If we don't follow "them" will we now have a fancy pseudo term given by "them" and have to hide?

A current events topic without politics yet it still degenerated into just another turd flinging contest.

I know what you mean, JB, but some guys just can't put it aside. Anyhow, playoff atmosphere down in Chicago the last few days, with the series rubber match today. I hope the Brewers win!

Two evenly matched teams on the field going nose to nose. What's not to like? I hope the Brewers lose.

Every article I read states clearly the resident opened the door to see who was trying to get in. togor knew that and lied just to stir the bucket. He is a low life with no redeeming values and now you are trying to prop him up???

JB the Cubs have been good for a few years now so you're used to September games that matter. The Brewers have always been hit-and-miss in this department, mostly miss, and so it's hard for us Brewers fans to wonder if/when the clock will strike 12 and we're back to pumpkins and mice.

Is Boston really that good that they would mow through these gritty NL clubs?

Brewers surely outplayed the Cubs tonight. As far as Boston goes? Any team might beat them on any given day including Baltimore. Finding that 'given day' is the hard part. Don't forget about the Yankees and Astros. Cleveland....
