No. The Second Boer War was fought 1899 to 1902. The White government was replaced by Mandella's government almost a hundred years later in 1994. While Mandella's administration was one of reconciliation, things have deteriorated since then.

Afrikaners--the people of Dutch descent--had the good sense to realize what would inevitably happen if the inmates were given control of the asylum; but many bleeding heart liberals in the English community collaborated with the anti-apartheid forces outside the country. Had whites maintained a united front, S.A. might still be the showplace of Africa, rather than its murder capital.
