Sid has it wrong, as usual. But...to be sure there is a big problem with the Pope's message. From the article:

The great accuser "seeks to reveal sins, which people can see, in order to scandalize the people" of God, he said in his homily during morning Mass at Domus Sanctae Marthae.

I'm sorry, but I can't see it as the work of the devil to get this stuff out in the sunlight. Our local bishop kinda stinks, IMO, so I'm not sympathetic to a staff-meeting-style message to boost bishop morale, which this clearly is.
