I told a friend about how I was denied entry to a ballpark due to a pocket knife. He replied had that happened by him (UK) he would have been slammed to the ground and cuffed.

Ban on guns and gun crime is soaring. Ban on sharp knives with points and knife crime is soaring. The article says a man was charged for having a potato peeler without proper cause! Not to mention all the other proposals about banning wood working tools etc.
What do they say about doing the same thing over and over while always expecting different results? I doubt the MP's realize they're on the road to the loony bin.
I have to wonder about how many of those more serious knife wounds were caused by the mandated duller knives with rounded blade points.
