Why would you vote for a loser ? ...

And that is exactly what the Republicans are.
They cannot stand up to a bully who has almost
zero sway in what goes on in the White House,
or in either of the halls of Congress, yet they are
in control. Their agents in the DOJ and FBI have
been issued subpoenas and what do they do when
they are ignored ? Nothing except cry into their beer.
It's disgusting, undignified and shows a total lack
of a backbone. Above is just one example of how
impotent the Republicans are. They do not seem
capable of being the majority party and it's only
because of the forcefulness of Trump that anything
at all has been accomplished in these past months.
I think there is a strong possibility that both Houses
will go to the democrats this November for one simple
reason - republican voter apathy made even more so
by this sex assault travesty where this non descript
woman is being allowed to dictate terms to a bunch
of milktoast republican Senators. It's nauseous.

I think this is the reason the voting public is so pissed off. There is no accountability. Janet Reno said she accepeted responsibility for Ruby Ridge and or the Waco massacre. People see there is no consequences for wrong doing in the govt. Why does "Lock her up" resonate so with the people?

Janet Reno was not in office at the time of Ruby Ridge (which was in Bush I's term.) For Wace, she excused herself by saying, "They were abusing children" -- something that is not a Federal crime. And the charges had already been investigated by the state of Texas and found unsubstantiated.

Janet Reno suffered from Parkinson's Disease, and we now know that disease can cause hallucinations -- which may have cause her bizarre decisions in this case.

I seem to be wasting my time here.
I open a thread about this coming election and how
worthless the republicans are and all I get in response
is Janet Reno. What the ferk has she got to do with this ?
Why can't you guys stay on subject without using the
thread as a springboard to something totally unrelated.

Remember, a lot of the GOP are RINO's and like the corrupt system just the way it is so it's hard to get unity to accomplish anything. Most likely they are in George Soros pocket and don't want any of their buddies punished. Trump is a threat to them and their way of life. Then there is Jeff Sessions who is about as worthless as a used condom.

Especially Sen. Grassley, who maybe once upon a time long ago had something going for him, but now, shouldn't be in control of anything more complicated that a shuffleboard tournament at a rest home; watching such a loud-mouthed & STUPID harridan as Sen. Kamala run all over him, & the other RINOs, truly IS nauseating--I can't watch it longer than a minute or two without wanting to smash the TV. Allowing the hearing room to be turned into a radical left-wing circus, when he could have cleared the room at the first outburst, demonstrates that all the RINOs are beaten men, hoping the media will say something nice about them if they pander sufficiently to that slandering, crazy, bitch. Why can't just ONE of them point out the obvious fact that any woman still utterly & fanatically obsessed after 36 yrs by a pass made by a drunken kid at a teenage party (even assuming it happened!) is clinically neurotic.

I've got to add, "what the hell does THAT mean?" Did she resign? Did she face criminal charges for the murders of the Davidians? Did she even apologize to the families of the murder victims? So how was her acceptance of responsibility manifested?

In Japan, S. Korea, & other countries with a genuine code of personal ethics, "accepting responsibility" for something shameful means you kill yourself! That's exactly what the captain of the S. Korean vessel that sunk with many deaths did a few yrs ago.

Yes, but in those cultures there is a sense of shame -- something totally lacking in today's bureaucracy. You must think Nazis, not Japanese. Remember that during the Night of the Long Knives, they gave Ernst Rohm a pistol so he could do the honorable thing. He wouldn't, so they had to go in and shoot him.

One former "leader" apparently had other people "suicide "themselves.
