Elephants and Kavanaugh have long memories ...

If I were in Kavanaugh's shoes, then after having suffered all the
democrat slings and arrows, surviving , being nominated and
finally taking my place on the Court. I would remember.
Oh boy, how I would remember. Revenge is sweet sayeth me
and anything coming before me beneficial to the liberal democrats
would not pass go. It wouldn't have even a ghost of a chance at
passing go. Anything coming before the Court that poked a finger
in the liberals' eye would get a resounding yes from me.

That will be their next ploy. "After the way we have dealt with him, he can't be impartial".

"Vengeance is mine, sayeth The Lord!" Paul to the Romans is how the Judge will look at it. Of course if he can correct an error it will be done with gusto!

There's a reason they don't let some guys run much of the world. Give 'em a little power and they'd start swinging the blade freely.

I have to believe that his integrety, the biggest selling point for Kavanaugh, will overcome vengence. Why else would we fight so?

I was talking about me. I don't have his scruples. I don't turn the other cheek.

I think he will show a proper judicial temperment -- unlike some of the current left-wing justices. And I'll bet he won't pass out drunk during court sessions or State of the Union Addresses.

Talk about setting a high bar for members of the judiciary! If you're hinting that he has an unconfronted alcohol problem then I agree with you. Probably Boggs does too.

Vern, there is only one person that has shown an ethanol problem here that is concerning to me.

Why is mr. K's defense of his life and reputation being portrayed as hostile?

If I was in his position I would be getting ready with an opinion that legalized dueling -- and I'd buy a Dillon 550C progressive reloader.
