Whiskey and Whiskey and wild wild Whiskey ...

Never liked Scotch. I'm a Bourbon man.
However, I'm thinking maybe I missed an arithmetic lesson
back when otherwise I'd question how a whiskey from 1926
can be just 60 years old.

Anyway, good to see that the inhabitants of the Far East
are becoming civilized at long last.

Made in 1926, bottled in 1986. 86 minus 26 equals 60. And "whiskey" - with an "e" - is made in the US and Ireland. Scotch "whisky" is never diluted with an "e".

What a ripoff. Jim Beam Black is less than $20 a bottle and you can drink it without losing a million bucks.

They don't drink JB. They just sit and look at it alongside their trophy wife.
            They probably drink plonk.

Reminds me of a conversation I had with a lady at the Highland Games.

"Why do you wear a solid color kilt?"

"That's the Irish saffron filidgh beag, Ma'am."

                "You're Irish?"

                "Yes, Ma'am."

                "But you play the bagpipes!"

                "The Irish invented the bagpipes."

"I thought the Scots invented the bagpipes!"

                "The Irish invented the Scots."
