Great Quote From Cory Booker On CNN

"We're sick and tired of the Constitution sitting in the National Archives, manipulating everything that we do."

And this arrogant, ignorant jackass wants to be our President. I really hope the Democrats run him. He is doing everything he can to speak, look, and act like Obama.

An idea worth considering might be to actively guard
the USS Constitution. The low intelligence quota of
Booker and the mob howling at the Senate might lead
them to confuse the ship for the actual document.

This is in reply to Sam's question. The correct diagnosis for Cory Booker is "Chronic Undifferentiated Mentally Retarded Schmuck."

Please, please let it happen. Let Booker and Biden be running mates.

On reflection, this harks back to a comment I made earlier. There are some things that are objectively wrong (such as roundhouse kicking a woman) and we ought to stand up and condemn those things, no matter which side does them.

The oath which office holders take is found in Article VI of the Constitution, Clause 3:
Clause 3: The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.
For a Senator to say what Senator Booker said is a violation of that oath. He has, in effect, rendered himself unfit to hold office.

AND -- if the Constitution is not followed, where DOES the Senate get any power at all?

What the members of the Senate and House better start remembering is the millions of us that took the oath of enlistment and commissioning. Many of us still hold to that oath and we will vote and let them know how we fell about that oath.

The Constitution CREATED the congress. Ignore the Constitution and there is no basis for Congress' powers.
