I served in the Army 1967-1971, those types kept their mouths shut-and they didn't have important political patrons.

When I was a kid I knew there were some queers somewhere. They weren't in my neighborhood. I spent four years in the navy(but not shipboard). I never saw any weirdo behavior. But then, this was Texas, not San Diego. Once in a great while I see some flaky looking guy but for the most part, people act normally around here. Don't let the underworld dictate what is normal. Just because you see it on Jerry Springer that doesn't make it the norm.
