    Major Richard Culver is dead.

He is buried in the National Cemetery in Arlington. But his legacy, his accomplishments, and his memory, have all been erased on his own forum.

Read his musings, his tales and his writings on his time in the USMC, as an "advisor" in Saudi Arabia and his take on FATE and compare them to the absurd posts by the NAZI's that have overtaken his forums.

Does anybody here think this forum is maintained in honor of Major Dick Culver and all of America's Veterans?

Take Vernon Humphrey from Arkansas as an example. He is a real hero. He fought in Vietnam in the last century and he fought the Democratic hierarchy in Arkansas in this century. Congressional District #1 in Arkansas is a heavily Democratic Congressional district that runs from the Missouri border in the north and follows the Mississippi River all the way to the Louisiana border in the south. Prior to 2010, the last Republican to hold the office was in 1873. In 1996, Democrat Bob Berry took the office and held it until the election in 2010.

In the four elections prior to 2010, Berry received an average of 135,993 votes while his Republican adversary averaged 50,631 votes. Vern ran in 2004 and received 81,599 votes

Vern was a trailblazer and sacrificed time and money, in a campaign he knew was merely symbolic and couldn’t be won.

Here we are today where Vern is being derided, slandered, and libeled on this forum by jackasses that have never done anything for anybody except themselves.

Is this kind of crap really free speech? Or is it hate and agitation?

Do you think the Major would have allowed this on his forum?

    Gaslighting wouldn't be allowed.

    Welcome back.

No one's in lockstep here. That makes it interesting. But your consistancy is admirable.

I would vote for Pat to remove any posts that are personal attacks and block the poster for 30 - 60 days. No appeal.

Discussion ends when personal attacks take place. When passions are enflamed truth is most in jeopardy.

              I very much agree.

Interesting idea but so much is in the eye of the beholder, as in: "it wasn't a personal attack, I CALLED him a NAZI because he IS a NAZI". Can't blame Pat for staying out of a crapshow. But worse than that has been slung by some here and yeah I can see a quicker hook for those who can't keep themselves in control.

The dems targeted this forum for destruction in late 2016. Since then, people who have little or no interest in firearms have continued to make contentious posts in answer to any other post that is the least bit political. The intention was to convert a forum of like-minded individuals into an echo chamber of labels and accusations by red-faced progressives. Many folks have tired of friction. The lady in charge seems to agree with the dems. That's what happened to Major Culver's forum. Regards, Clark

So Clark the old banner that said "The gloves are off! If you can't take it, then don't come in!" was meant to describe a gentlemanly forum of purely like-minded individuals? The reality is gun owners have a broader set of political views than some would like to be the case. How a broader constituency in the population is a bad thing for firearms rights....beats me.

I think Clark is referring to the fact we don't like your anti American crap togor. We don't care what your argument is we can see through you like a picture window.

Point of fact, having a difference of opinion does not by default, make someone a supporter of a political ideology or any other specific interest group. It's an overused logical fallacy that serves only to drag the discussion down.

Too many people in this country are turning to tribalism as a refuge, this forum is certainly not immune to the outside world.

Red talks about how the stooges are trying to destroy this forum,
yet RED always engages them in conversation.
They won't have a forum if nobody listens.

Your definition if "we" seems to be: people who take it personally if someone disagrees with them. That's it, yeah? Next question--how is anyone here harmed by honest disagreement in an internet forum over some issue of the day? Sure seems like entitlement to me.

Or, they'll talk to each other in an alternate universe of threads, along with people who don't sweat a range of viewpoints. Yes, this idea that only certain viewpoints belong in the forum. Where is that in the FAQ?
