        Chamberlain was part of the Conservative clique in Britain who thought as businessmen that there was a deal to be had with Hitler if they could but get him to name his price. The Conservatives saw Hitler as a useful bulwark against Bolshevism. Indeed, on the continent, the French right preferred Hitler in many respects to their own French left.

        Oh and I have some Czech 8mm rounds that are headstamped 6/38. Made when the Czechs were prepared to fight for freedom and couldn't believe they'd get thrown under the bus by their Western allies.
