    "Here they come again" ...

Went the cry in the movie:
But instead of Zulu warriors charging the British defenders
this lot are Hondurans charging the United States border.
Like swarms of Locusts, they just keep coming, and coming,
and coming. Hondurans, Ecuadorians, Mexicans, Nicaraguans,
Chileans, and everybodyelseians. Just a few million more and
the democrats will have enough votes to win any election.

Then maybe the Republicans should have done something about it whenever they had the opportunity.

But of course they were friendly with all the Corporations that wanted cheap labor .... even if it meant driving down the wages of the legal residents and citizens

I quote George W Bush ....... " Compehensive Immigration Reform " .... poor George was sidelined by 9/11

imigration .... even English people came ...like you

"Welcome to the American Foreign Legion. We will train and equip you to return to your country and fix it." Would solve that problem right away.

Isn't this what you are currently doing with your business??? Want to talk about enslavement, isn't this what happened everywhere an Englishman went in history? Want to discuss Irish History and how the English treated my ancestors? How well were the Scots or Welch treated?

What the hell does "comprehensive" mean, in this context? In this case its a political word. Be careful what you wish for. It always includes 'a path to citizenship'. (for a now estimated 20 mil. illegal people)!

Why can we have easily obtable work visas for those with skills we need? I despise illegal immigration but there has to be some middle ground somewhere.

Using work visas would control the flow of people coming over, and that would mean less Democrat voters.

Have to admit my lack of knowledge, does a work visa automatically come with the right to vote. I could assume managing that might be hard regardless of the answer.

No, a work visa does not come with the right to vote -- but illegals vote in large numbers. If we controlled entry through work visas, we could put a big dent in illegal voting.

                          Yes, it's called LEGAL Immigration.

If anyone is still waiting for the proof that illegals vote in large numbers, the advice is to not hold their breath. It's a canard that aspires to become conventional wisdom if repeated enough. The motivation for this is simple: not content to choose their own voters in the aggregate through gerrymandering, the GOP takes it to the next level through increasingly restrictive registration policies that disenfranchise those people least likely to support them, with stories of illegals used for cover. So let's put ourselves in that illegal's shoes for a bit. You're here on fake papers, maybe working day labor for cash or have a withholding job on a purloined SSN. Maybe you got a state DL, maybe not. But everything you do in public is executed with a keen sense of risk/reward. So now do the math for our illegal--what is his up side for voting? None whatsoever. Why risk another point of contact with the government that cannot possibly bring you any good on an activity that has no clear and direct tangible benefit.

I'll gladly receive the "fonzaroon touché" from Vernon because on this point I'm 10X in the 10-ring and he knows it.
