Hey lads did you know, We're the Dregs of Society ...

according to Biden, the democrat front runner for President.
Nice to know what he and the rest like him think of us isn't it.
Just what we need as our President - someone who thinks that
half the population of the United States are scum.

Work on that Self-esteem. You're not a victim, you had a choice.

The issue is, how can a man who clearly despises at least half of the American people ever hope to unite us?

I fear we have gone too far for anyone to unite us.

But wouldn't it be nice to have a leader willing to TRY?

It would seem to me that the first qualification for an aspiring president would be that he respects the American people.

The Republic guarantees religious and civil liberty, equal rights and equal opportunities to all its citizens, and declares its resolve to pursue the happiness and prosperity of the whole nation and of all its parts, cherishing all the children of the nation equally, and oblivious of the differences carefully fostered by an alien Government, which have divided a minority from the majority in the past.

Would the successful unifier most likely come from the right or the left, or from what we'll broadly call the center, from outside of politics?

Vern... for maybe the first time ever..... I agree with you 100%.

It would indeed be nice to have a leader willing to try . But I'd be happy just to have one showing a bit of respect right about now ....
