Holy S**T! I can almost feel what that kid went through. I once had a jacket sleeve catch fire and even though trained to handle an unexpected incident, panic mode is there. Having a head on fire....that's too much. That poor kid will be emotionally scarred for a very long time if not for life.
Girl I went to school with had her long hair catch fire from a candle. Never wore her hair long ever again and the last time we spoke, she would not go near an open flame. She cooked on electric and still wouldn't go near a birthday cake.2016 Chicago Cubs. MLB Champions!

At a Boy Scout Winter Jamboree about 1970. One boy leaned over the camp fire to do something about cooking supper. His hair caught fire. Scout standing by him grabbed him by the shirt and jerked his head under his open coat. Smothered the fire. Hair looked bad, but otherwise no injuries. Very remarkable.
Looking at this little girl after the fire, it is just as remarkable if not more so that she is not more severely injured. God bless her brother, sister and friend for coming to her aid so quickly! God bless her to recover and very hopefully not have any future problems. I was burned in a gas fire in 1998. It can sometimes be hard to get over. Sincerely. bruce." That point was and remains that Sid curates what he pulls from the broad spectrum of bad news to bring to the attention of the forum topics that conform to his extreme political slant. You will not see him initiate a thread on that nutter Sayoc for example whose uptake of the worst of the #MAGA propaganda was nearly total--a fact that should give everyone pause.
On this post Sid is referring to a place he used to live, so the connection is more universal. And yes, tragic that kids do that to each other. Sometimes kids are unbelievably cruel and you shudder to think about them as grown-ups. Ask any middle school teacher and they'll tell you about the stone cold ones that are really scary.
So apparently we have Vernon on this forum who gets it wrong again. I wasn't on this thread yet you attack me in your usual passive-aggressive candy-*ss way. You and your sidekick truly are the worst trolls here.
