Are we getting weaker as a species ? ...

Seems like it as the list of things that both kids
and adults are allergic to grows ever longer.
Peanuts can kill ya, so can milk, eggs and soy.
Others such as dust, mould, pollen and even pets
can merely be annoying as well as debilitating.

Maybe in about a hundred years the lizards will reign once again.
    A little smaller though.

We can't burn leaves anymore cause someone 10 miles away might have smoke allergies.

They'd have a rough time in Singapore! First there's Hungry Ghost Month, when people make gifts of paper for their ancestors and burn them -- I've seen full-sized Mercedes-Benz made of paper and burned.

And while I lived there the winds brought us the smoke from slash-and-burn agriculture from Borneo. For about two months, the air quality was unbelieveable!

Remember the good old days of flying when you and all
the other passengers were munching peanuts ?
I don't recall anyone dropping dead or going into fits,
so what's happened since then to cause this widespread
allergy - plus all the others that didn't exist before ?
