The Moving Hole wrecks and having wrecked moves on ...

With apologies to Omah, but this thing seems like the plot of
a Science Fiction story, except their plots move a little faster.

Hopefully it will detour to Sacramento.

Dogtag: OK; I'm impressed. We studied that poem (or at least that stanza) when I was in high school and I even quote it from time to time but I didn't think anybody else other than an English major would remember it. (from memory: "The moving finger writes, and having writ, moves on. Nor all your piety nor wit can lure it back to cancel half a line; nor all your tears wash out a word of it"). Or as O J Simpson's lawyer put it "You can't un-ring a bell"

Thank you Mark. The benefits of a British education when
the teachers were excellent, and any deserved punishment
was painful. The Classics were taught, and more's the pity
that they now seem to be neglected in favor of dogma.

"The slow one" is releasing huge amounts of Co2. Has anyone figured that into their climate change models? Probably not as it isn't likely considered a constant like bovine flatulence.

Interesting phenomenon though. Geologists must be having a field day figuring that thing out.

The EPA, I understand, has declared CO2 a pollutant. So how come they're still breathing?

Hi JB, was just reminding Vernon in a mild way of his own style guideline for posts.

I was afraid you'd say that. Hoped you were talking about the EPA as it would have been nice to see some civility begin between you two. Oh well. I'll keep hoping for another day.
