Parents have found an easy way to keep their kids from
getting under their feet and from their having to field
the embarrassing questions that kids never seem to run
out of. Put an I Pad in their hand and peace descends.
Trouble is, the kid becomes addicted and spends his
or her time staring into the screen instead of "Playing"
with the other kids who are probably staring into their
own screens. No more skinned knees and elbows, but
the kid is going to lack the art of discourse - how to
get on with others. And with the others also lacking
"People Skills" communication is not going to come
easy. A generation of morose people.
