The demokrats most likely will get the house by maybe 5 votes or so. The Republicans will hold the Senate ... pick up maybe two seats. Possibly more. We'll just have to wait and see. Gotta agree with Red on this. I don't see how anyone could vote democrat unless they have something monetarily to gain from it such as the Hollywood bunch.
The democrats have been acting like a bunch of retarded barbarian orangutans since they lost power in 2016.
The economy has greatly improved along with record low unemployment.
Then there's all the sht trying to invade our country for democrat sponsored welfare in exchange for their votes.
Oh, well, except for the 3 that don't understand anything I'm pretty much preaching to the choir here. The improvements brought about by Trump go on and on. I believe the hype about the blue wave is all media BS like the 2016 election.Comment

The big ? here is how many people who are not playing the game are going to vote? I have not answered a single call from a number I don't recognize, yet I have been working on a friend's (I) campaign-GOP didn't run a candidate-and working a phone bank. I don't think the polls have a solid foundation; the methodology is a little indistinct. Sure, the 'Rats have party discipline, I am seeing it in our county commissioner race where every D is lock step behind a low qualification stalking horse for a term limited former commissar. But what about the (I) voters? That's where the race is won or lost and a lot of them are still not in the game. My previous post about turnout is still in line with the ratios even if the % is increasing.
But the incumbent is running scared of my friend. She took $300K from a Bloomberg led group who's meddling in CO and just this week sent out a blaze orange postcard saying he refused to fill out the NRA questionnaire on 2A. Nobody is believing a retired game warden is anti gun. And also sent out a 98% identically worded on woman's issues.
But working the phone bank was interesting. A lot of wrong numbers, especially cells. How much better are the smartest guys in the room?
I think GOP will hold the House by a RPH.
Here's another opinion. https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/201...cts-gop-upset/
He says something similar about the polling so I obviously think he's brilliant.Last edited by barretcreek; 11-05-2018, 06:48.Comment

Just quoting words that caught my attention. Not singling out anyone in particular. My own observations are people vote D because they always BELIEVE they will gain monetarily....I don't see how anyone could vote democrat unless they have something monetarily to gain from it...
The same gullible types who pay twice as much at a Buy1get1 sale believing they're getting a bargain on a product which isn't worth the label printed on it.2016 Chicago Cubs. MLB Champions!

To quote Abraham Lincoln, "You can fool some of the people some of the time, and you can fool Democrats all the time."
(Okay, I re-worded it a little.)

which is a shame, because I would tell them the exact opposite of how I would vote
in fact if they asked, I would be a pregnant person who identifies as a male, LGBT, wealthy and maybe even hispanic african asian,
( I am none of the above!!) just to skew the numbers,,
local radio (conservation station) seems to think the Senate is a lock, house a loss by one or 2,
I hope not, and will place my vote in the morning to hopefully help the R's win
ETA. I would love to see Kaine loose,, but worried that the VA GOP has put another dud in place against himLast edited by lyman; 11-05-2018, 06:22.Comment

Consider yourself blessed or gifted. With the robocall system no one is exempt from calls that should be unlawful. Those of us who pay extra for unlisted numbers are thoroughly pissed because the robocall devices call everyone in a particular phone exchange from 0001 to 9999.
Intelligent people do not answer their phones when the number is unfamiliar or unidentified. Other than propaganda from the media this is what screws up the polling. I have always thought that it was unethical and perhaps illegal to call someone to ask "who are you voting for?" along with a slew of other questions. My answer (if I answered) would simply be "it's none of your business".Comment
