Not for all the tea in China ...

Would I even think of doing this, let alone do it.
    It's not that I don't like ladders, I do, but I don't like heights
especially when there's nothing under my feet.

      Well, since it's here.....

Those guys aren't as ballsy as the ones who built it there.

That's really just a suspension bridge. They're built from the bottom, teams climbing both peaks and trailing a cable behind them.

The people who build it test it, of course. Once the first cables are in place and tensioned, the builders have to put in the rest, and that constitutes the test.

Trump likes "pissed on" according to reports.

I understand all that. Methinks you overestimate my ignorance!

I'm not so adventurous anymore. (read as younger and dumber). I've dropped my tool belt, hard hat, and emptied my pockets to be haphazardly dropped over the edge of a deck to secure loose tarps in the face of an approaching storm. Only to protect wet concrete? WTF was I thinking?
Been to the top of some of the tallest buildings in the world and not on the visitors observation decks. Sears Tower, Hancock, Standard Oil-Amoco-BP Building (can barely keep up with the name changes) etc. I can say I've been to the top of the Rock. The roof of the Prudential Building. My uncles worked on the first one. I was on "Pru-2".
As far as those guys choosing to dangle for fun.... In that kind of wind? Not me. Certainly not anymore. I'll think twice and thrice before crossing a rope bridge now!

When I lived in Peru, there were still a couple of Inca-style suspension bridges in existence, and I watched Indians work on them.
