Its hard to get old. When you start falling at her age bad things happen to you. I don't agree with her rules but I've prayed for comfort for her.

The seemingly sympathetic type will volunteer body parts as it elevates their status and image among those they need to impress. For the rest of us, we actually do sympathize but know that is all we can really do. No showing off with hollow words. Call some of those donors. See if they show up for the promised transplants.

I don't care for Baders position on things. I don't care much for her because of it, but I do wish her well. Hopefully she'll retire but that's just wishful thinking on my part.

*added* I don't think I would be so mellow about this had it happened to Hillary. In fact.....nah....I know I wouldn't!

I broke a couple of ribs three years ago and still have occasional pain from them. My heart is with her. I wouldn’t wish that kind of pain on anyone.

I can tell you from experience that there are very few things that hurt worse than broken ribs, or stay with you longer.

Bruised ribs are very painful. I never want to break a rib. Falling for older people is nearly fatal. The hip bone is the basis of your body. Break a hip and it won't be long. Someday there might be a shot for that.

Several weeks ago out jogging ... fell hard. Nothing broken, but badly bruised ribs on right side. Could not hardly breath without sharp pain for a week or so. Still hurt pretty bad a couple of more weeks. Understand broken ribs are far worse. Hope and pray for her recovery. Sincerely. bruce.
