Feisty Duck versus annoying little kid ...

Well, he just learned a Duck Lesson.
Best not try pestering a Goose kid. They're even more ornery.

Every now and then some touron tries to cuddle up to a bison or moose in Yellowstone. Unfortunately most survive and live to breed.

And that's a shame. We need to breed more aggressive bison and moose, to improve the human gene pool.

As I recall geese have beaks like a mouse trap. When I was about that boys age I was walking along the pond with something, I don't remember what. It was food. The geese approached me so I offered a piece of whatever to it. It snapped mt fingers, I dropped everything, they ate it and hissed me off. After that they tasted pretty good whenever I killed one.

The municipal park in Mobile used to have about 200 assorted ducks, white geese and sea gulls. I like ducks so every so often I would go buy day old bread which was only about 10 cents a loaf back in the 70's. I would take about 10 loaves (minimum) and feed them. You would soon be surrounded. I was never attacked by any of them and they were in competition with each other too. Some of the geese would tug on my pants leg like a dog but that was it---they were grateful to be fed. I've had ducks as pets too ( a dozen at a time--not 200 ). They would follow me around in a row when I walked just like they follow their mama duck. For the most part these are very peaceful birds, makes me wonder if the little boy pestered the duck before the video was filmed.
