I have had the pleasure of seeing Idle and Cleese on tour,

I 've also seen the live version of the Holy Grail twice, SPAMALOT

once here in RVA, and once in it's native language, (in London),

Much of it revolved around British politics and European culture. Most Americans didn't get the snappy tongue-in-cheek innuendos. I for one didn't quite get Python's spiny norman/dinsdale thing until someone explained it.
