A Democratic Congressman suggested nuking America if gun owners resist gun seizures, following comments he made in an op-ed urging an assault weapons ban.

In the op-ed, Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) argued that the government should force gun owners to sell their weapons to the government, and punish those who resist.
In his radical proposal, he says America “should ban possession of military-style semiautomatic assault weapons, we should buy back such weapons from all who choose to abide by the law, and we should criminally prosecute any who choose to defy it by keeping their weapons.”

“And it would be a short war, my friend. The government has nukes. Too many of them. But they’re legit,” he said.

More and more it appears that to be a Democrat nowadays is to be clinically insane.

Never mind the delicious irony of his desire. Like the tobacco settlement lawyer, John Coale whose response to 2a supporters was sic the 82nd on them.

Perhaps some punishment which would fit the definition of Cruel, Unusual and Thoroughly Appropriate would be nice. Say burning at the stake with very small fire so it would take a while.

Because the voters are dumber than the politicians.

There is a natural tendency for nuts to migrate west, and when they reach California that is as far as they can go. It only gets worse and worse as more arrive.
