It's talk like this that leads to mass shootings. Get a grip on your hate, Red.

Is there self reporting to help?

All the dems want is selective enforcement of the law, according to political persuasion. They already have it in quite a few locales. Regards, Clark

Nope. Just put a Customs and Immigration post at every border crossing and require all Californians to have a passport and a visa to enter the US. And stop depriving US farmers and ranchers of water so Californians can fill their swimming pools.

This article discusses the same thing, especially here in CO where the 'Rats took the House, Senate and Governor, and also Sec of State.

PJ Media is a leading news site covering culture, politics, faith, homeland security, and more. Our reporters and columnists provide original, in-depth analysis from a variety of perspectives.

A day or two after the election the local community radio ran a segment which pointed out every ballot initiative the liberals wanted went down in flames, none were squeakers. Plus the 2016 referendum giving the state control over health care failed 70/30. Yet the Dems picked up the whole shooting match. This does not bode well for the next two years. Bloomberg and his fellow travelers dumped close to two million in the elections.

Vern's reference to water is more timely than many understand. The 1927 agreement parceling out the water in the Colorado River was based on flows during the four wettest years going back a couple of centuries. The reservoirs in the upper basin which feed Lakes Powell and Meade are way down. Compact calls are based on ten year average flows and it's looking like there will finally be one. That could be a serious problem, if the people with the water refuse to release it.

Mixed feelings on water. Agree on the swimming pools and the golf courses. But then it takes 1 gallon of taxpayer-subsidized water to grow 1 almond to be exported to Asia. And as I've posted before, the Saudis are pumping aquifers in NV or AZ dry to grow alfalfa to ship back to the Middle East. So we're exporting fossil groundwater in the form of high-moisture crops grown in veritable deserts, and when the water table drops, then only those who can afford to dig the deep wells can get it, putting that groundwater out of reach of the ordinary homeowner or small scale farm or ranch operation.

What do I care that weak laws allow foreigners to siphon off our natural resources thereby depriving our own citizenry of their use? That's the question?
