Forklift driver collapses entire warehouse ...

I hope the guy is OK.
Those racks are an accident waiting to happen,
    and it did.

Probably some Asian(or worse) country. People overseas are just dangerous.
If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.

The racks were not up to the task. The driver proved that humans make mistakes. Given the size of the items on the shelves, odds are high that he was either killed or seriously injured. Sincerely. bruce.

Under rated racking. No safety locks or unsecured safety locks on the sparsely located beams. No floor anchor bolts....
I've done racking numerous times and even worked on emergency repairs following a hard collision and section failure. When erected properly the redundant safety procedures prevent that from happening.
The engineers and designers aren't stupid. Contractors who skimp and untrained workers..... You get what you pay for.

                      union shop,

no fire, as a store manager I could report to HR, suspend, and let them do the firing,
however it was better that he stayed, and use only a manual jack,

he learned his lesson, and had the entire night crew fukking with him, not just me,,

You don't want to fly on any Asian airlines.

Bad stuff happens when a forklift driver who is inattentive drives one. At the factory where I once worked, a forklift driver hit a 12 inch thick brick wall. 20 foot of a 20 foot high wall collapsed in the welding department.

I have worked at places where the warehouse shelves were overloaded and blame the forklift driver of any mishaps. Sometimes the door swings the other way.

Where I worked the racks had a couple of dings but it would take a D9 to take them down.
