Sure he's plenty windy; that's worse than Robert's denial of a plain reality known to anybody with an IQ over 75???

An oligarchy is a rule by a group, not an individual. After Stalin died his heirs decided that one man should NOT have so much power, so they decided on "collective leadership." But it was still a dictatorship.
"An autocrat is bound by precedent, a tyrant isn't." That's why the idea of tyranny has such negative connotations.

In its articles dealing with the Kavanaugh nomination the Wall Street Journal noted that the courts are the liberals preferred legislature.

A "preferred legislature" that never has to face a popular vote, without term limits, immune to sanctions from the other branches of gov't even when their biased decisions are repeatedly overturned. THIS is "tyranny," not the actions of a President whose executive orders are nullified by a single federal judge almost before the ink dries.

All the name calling and the insults aside which some of the members seem to really enjoy to do, I believe the Presidents comments about the judges is correct. He is using his bully pulpit to say what many would like to say and believe to be true about court appointments. Its been going on for ever. I know that if myself and Red were qualified to sit on a court we would not even get considered under a Democrat Administration just as Togor probably wouldn't under a Republican Administration.

I would just like all judges to judge by the written word and not by the big picture or their beliefs.

                      Everybody wants to play politics.

Judges are paid to enforce/interpret the laws we have not to make laws or play favoritism.

Every one of them should be disbarred if they take a political side starting with Ruth Bladder Ginsburg followed by the queer and Mexican then the court of appeals judges.

In any case no single judge should have the power to block a U.S. president.

Another Allen-y thing said. Our Constitution spells out powers for the judicial branch over the legislative and executive branches. And imagine if Obama banned autoloaders and judicial review was not allowed. People want to tear things down and rebuild them gloriously in Trump's image and it doesn't occur to them that someday the Trump of the left comes along to do the same thing.

The difference, if that happens, is that the Trump of the left will enjoy the full & enthusiastic cooperation of most fed judges--HIS hands won't be tied!

You know that isn't so. You know that an acquired appetite for power expands until it meets constraints. Our institutions aren't perfect but they were built from scratch by our forbearers, and we should respect them instead of trying to tear them down like the extremists want to do.

What constraints from liberal courts which agree wholeheartedly with a liberal president? Trump isn't going to be in office long enough to begin to redress the judicial imbalance created by Clinton & Obummer, & every liberal judge like Ginsburg will hang on till they die to prevent a conservative replacement.

Wonder how that sanctimonious phony Roberts explains why, IF there really are no "Clinton & Obama judges," Ginsburg maintains that death-grip on her seat, when she's CLEARLY physically unfit to continue in office?
