Mexico says 'no deal', but she has no choice ...

Mexico might not want the Migrants staying there while
their asylum petitions are considered - which could take
God only knows how long, but if the US refuses to let them
in during the process, then Mexico has no say in the matter.
She has only herself to blame for allowing them into Mexico
in the first place. Maybe a lesson to be learned ?

What's in Mexico doesn't stay in Mexico though. They can't keep their own people in check. Along with the wall we need military bases along our borders and much stricter enforced laws along with revised/clarified amendments.

Emotional thinking loses wars, ask the South.

Yes, but the thinking goes, how glorious to have fought the fight! Better to be true, if vanquished, than to meekly submit to the bootheel of the oppressor! I however share your view that this a needlessly mulish approach.

Trump is onto something with immigration if simultaneously (and unsurprisingly) inept in execution. There are plenty of Democratic voters who don't think that living within walking distance of the USA should be used as an immigration advantage, which is what we have today. The system is ripe for broad reform but the GOP can't deliver the votes without the base primarying everyone in sight in the next election. Immigration is replacing abortion as the flogged issue that keeps the core in line even as nothing is done year after year to deliver the coveted political changes.

60 Minutes' response to today's violent attempt by the invaders to crash the border in Tijuana: 20 min of sob-stories about invaders who DELIBERATELY brought their brats with them on the assumption that invaders with kids wouldn't be deported. Thanks to Trump-hating fed judges, the scheme is now working beautifully--brats are almost as useful as a green card.

People that have been down there claim at least 95% of them are men. The 5% women and children are the only ones they show on TV for the sympathy.

Allen, have you been to the border to see them?

Yeah, it kind of backfired on them. They readily let them in, provided shelters and Mexican citizens gave them rides to OUR border thinking they would just dump the load on us with maybe a few more thousand Mexicans added in for good measure. Now they are seeing a tiny glimpse of what they have been doing to America.

The Mexican government seems to keep forgetting that NAFTA is not guaranteed nor is the ingress, egress from there to here.

I would like to know who provided all the food and supplies for them. On film you always see them traveling very light but they ate for weeks during their invasion trip. That many people would go through tons of supplies.

The Clintons supplied all the support thru their 'african foundation'.
