Have to agree that as a politician he really, really sucked. All the Bushes are RINO's. George senior was probably the worse of them all. He was the big pusher for NAFTA that was only signed by clinton. He imposed the gun control act of 1989 which later became the "assault weapon ban of 1994" signed by clinton. I'm not sure that he didn't join the NRA just to later resign and bad mouth guns and gun rights. He was a real puppet for the democrats.
