I'm fast losing faith in the average Joe ...

Here we have the first President in my memory which goes
back to the last few days of JFK to have actually kept the
many promises he made whilst campaigning. He's cut the
wasteful regulations that kept small businesses in the doldrums,
he cut taxes and he has breathed new life into both the oil and
coal enterprises. He has done his damnedest to build the wall,
only to be thwarted by the democrats at every turn. He has
re-negotiated NAFTA in order to enhance our part of the deal,
He defeated ISIS in their efforts to establish a stronghold,
He's dumping on the Mullahs in Iran and he's brought China
to the table to deal with the lopsided tariff arrangement.
He's suffered never ending attacks on both himself and his
family from a resentful democrat party and a hostile Press.
But I guess there's no pleasing a lot of people for how has he
been paid for his Herculean efforts ?
They gave back the House to the same Democrats that have done
their best to prevent him fulfilling his campaign promises.
If this is the thanks he gets, he should do as I prophesized and
hand the baton to Spence. Who the hell needs this sh!t ?

That's why we have a 2 year term in the House. In 1994 we-the NRA-were were laughed as a "beaten", then...in 2008 we were supposed to engulfed by a blue wave, in 2010....many of these elections were very narrow, and I suspect a lot of vote fraud. We have to do a better job of getting out the vote next time.

Exactly my thoughts, he has given everything i has got, pacing impeachment, endless court cases and investigations while Obama, Hillary and Soros and deemed angels and Heroes. he has to help republicans with campaigning so they don't loose the governor seat, etc.
All this for free because he isn't taking salary fro anyone of this. he left his business and his lavish life to suffer and be demonized. all for what ??

Not yet, but the Russian troll agreeing with the whole statement is enough for now.

To your point, if Dogtag truly believes everything he just wrote, there's very little anyone can do to shake him from the bubble of cognitive consonance he's living in.

Context is important. Trump recently tweeted about a big soybean buy from China, saying in a tweet

                Farmers, I LOVE YOU!
It's even described in the press as a win for Trump. But...bean exports to China are down 91% from the previous year, even with this purchase. Meanwhile the trade deficit with China...well look that up for yourselves, not hard to find. My point is that if something gets messed up enough, in this case China trade, then momentary bits of good news paper over the generally poor performance. That is one of Trump's principal tactics--muddy up the picture and then impose your own narrative on events.

                  Don't blame the average Joe.

                  Blame:

                  1. Known corruption in the voting precincts.
                  2. Predictable voter fraud in areas of democrat overpopulation such as Florida, Illinois, Michigan, Georgia and others.
                  3. Non-standardized voting machines in all states.
                  4. Lack of security where voting ballots are stored (or made up).
                  5. States allowing illegals and other non-citizens to vote in U.S. elections.
                  6. States not requiring ID to vote.
                  7. Influence of DNC money and false campaign ads.
                  8. Brainwashing of our youth in grade schools and colleges.
                  9. Churches NOT being outspoken enough.
                  10. The NRA NOT being outspoken enough.

Laugh all you want! But if there is a democrat as the next President, we will get the last laugh and suffer. Clintons, Pelosi and Savanna Guthrie will be well pleased for degrading Trump at every chance.

I just reread what Dogtag wrote, could you please explain to me what he said that was not true or in error. Just curious, Ray

The premise that Trump is not a victim of his own actions is preposterous from the start. He has brought all of this upon himself, and the more he's held accountable the more the Roy Cohn approach to leadership becomes untenable.

In truth, it's all theater, and its amusing and a bit odd to many to see those Americans captivated in the audience by the messaging brought forth by a huckster in an ill-fitting suit. Trump enjoys the same criticism that all Presidents endure, his inability to handle it, undermines whatever leadership he hoped to inspire.

you just described every politician , and president, for the past few decades, if not longer

That rhetoric is becoming exhausting. The sad thing is, apathy sets in right when we're expected to be paying the closest attention.
