How on earth can you freeze a bubble ? ...

Very carefully. I would have thought the expansion would
cause it to burst - or getting heavy would make it hit the floor.
Ah, what do I know about bubbles anyway ?
    Pretty though, kinda like snowflakes.

I dig photography. There is a guy who takes pics of snowflakes. He does it outside int sub zero weather. He puts the snowflakes on felt so they stay put. Beautiful shots. I used to have his link but don't now. DT's link is very good. Stuff like that is taking place a zillion times a second but it take's some tech to find it. The thing is; the pretty stuff is inconsequential. So when NASA finds a pretty picture expect it went along with something that really is important.

I lived in frozen Alaska as a kid. I was about 10 or something when it hit -72. We had to move from one building to another for some reason. I got the great idea to take some of my soap bubbles with me. So as we went across 25 yrds or so I blew soap bubbles. My report: The warm air I blew into the soap bubbles rapidly cooled. The soap bubbles kind of crinkled and sank. End of experiment. I kink of dig science. I know, dig is beatnik talk.
If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.

Dryheat that bubble experiment you did as a kid was quite cool (pun accidental).
