It's based on real events but the details and anecdotes have almost certainly been fictionalized somewhat. I don't think that anybody can criticize the acting talent; it was excellent.
I went to see that movie with wifey. I will admit that it was much better than I expected. The movie was a lot deeper and had tales on a lot of levels, not the (as I expected), ".... tale of the stuffy white dud who learned that folks different from him may be OK...". It may well be one of the rare movies that I buy on disc some day, e.g. "Master and Commander, Far Side of the World", and "The Longest Day".

"The Green Book" was an involved tale, of a lot of people, a lot of different societies, and had some doggoned good humor and music in it, too.

Wow, That's a mishmash of some Legolas shooting, some "viva'la'Restance!" and goth junk, it looks to me.
My son and a couple other young folks went to watch it last week. I see why he was not too impressed.

Where's the Bowman of Helm's Deep when you need him?!?
